Who didn’t know it back in the days of the N64 or the Game Boy? You want to start Super Mario and stomp some Goombas, but the game isn’t reading. Annoying, but there was a simple solution: just take the cartridge and blow into the console and the disc.
A new attempt and the console displays the game, very nice. But did you know that this myth can damage your games and consoles?
Most players think that they can blow dust and crumbs out of the contact points that prevent the cartridge from being read. And even if that might be true, Nintendo advises against it. Through this action, in the worst case, your saliva can get on the contact points of the console and cartridge, which then begin to rust.
Better to use a vacuum cleaner, according to Nintendo.
