What kind of myth was that? GTA is primarily known for you as a gangster to run the streets, selling drugs or participating in shootouts. But besides the life of an outlaw, there were also rumors about mysteries, especially cryptids.
The most famous of them was Bigfoot. According to the myth, you could encounter Bigfoot in GTA: San Andreas in locations like Flint County, Whetstone, Red County, or Bayside Mountains. The cryptid would usually be at a distance from the player and would try to flee when the player got closer. Rarely, he would even attack players if they got too close.
Despite many “eyewitness reports,” there is no real evidence of his existence. The data from San Andreas had no textures for Bigfoot at all. Although many things speak against his existence, countless fans believed in Bigfoot.
