The superhero and supervillain MMO DC Universe Online is asking players who have been inactive for 18 months to log back in. Otherwise, the name will be gone.
Anyone who has not logged into DC Universe Online since July 20, 2013, has their superhero or supervillain name in great danger. Because if they do not log in by January 20, the name will be gone. The character will still exist, but it will have to be renamed on the next login.
This will allow SOE to unlock cool blocked names for newcomers or veterans that are currently blocked by inactive players, so that aspiring superheroes do not have to name themselves AntBear42 or “TheGuyWhoIsSuperman”, but can give themselves cool names. AquariumMan or something!
