Remnant: From the Ashes
When is the game coming out? The co-op shooter starts on August 20 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
Who is the game for? All shooter fans who do not want to go alone, but rather fight against huge monsters together with up to three friends, should feel at home in Remnant: From the Ashes. Additionally, the hunt for loot is expected to be motivating.
How does the co-op play? Basically, you play in your own world, which is generated randomly for you. However, you can invite up to three players to support you in your world. Together, you fight against enemies. In return, you can also jump into your friends’ worlds to help them.
What is special about the title? Remnant: From the Ashes is somewhat reminiscent of Hellgate: London. It mixes shooter action with RPG elements, co-op, and loot hunting. Thanks to the randomly generated levels and missions, each playthrough is supposed to feel different.
Torchlight 2
When is the game coming out? Starting September 3, you can experience the action RPG on the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Who is the game for? Torchlight 2 is for anyone who enjoys Diablo and other hack ‘n slays. You create a hero and fight against hordes of monsters to level up and acquire better loot.
How does the co-op play? Up to (presumably) eight heroes (four on the Nintendo Switch) can team up to save the fantasy world from evil creatures. Each player creates their own character. Together you defeat bosses and navigate the dangerous dungeons.
What is special about the title? It is actually an older game. Torchlight 2 was released in 2012 for PC. However, since the hack ‘n slay genre is still so popular, Runic Games is now bringing it to consoles with improved controls.
