The map of Fortnite: Battle Royale is large and it can take a long time to get to where you want to go. A player now shows a trick with which you can run twice as fast in the game as intended. The combination of 2 items is important.
What is this trick? There are various regular ways in Fortnite to run faster across the map. You can use the peppers and the new spicy fish for this. Eating them gives you a boost that allows you to run significantly faster.
However, a player has now found a method to use these two items to run twice as fast. He shared his discovery on Twitter:
He built a track where he could accurately measure how long it took him to reach the goal. In the first run, he let the stopwatch run to measure how long it took him without any help.
Then he ate a pepper and observed how it affected the time: Here, a significant improvement was already noticeable.
In the last run, he combined the pepper with a spicy fish. The result showed: He was able to run the distance twice as fast.
Important: The boost wears off after a short time. This is not a method that will allow you to run faster throughout the entire match.

Where can you find these items? Peppers are not hard to find. They are spread across the map and are mostly found in a vegetable/fruit box. These are small boxes in Fortnite that you can simply open.
However, you first have to catch the spicy fish. To do this, you just fish at fishing spots or where fish can be seen in the water. A pro fishing rod increases your chances of getting a rare fish, so you should upgrade any normal fishing rod at a workbench.
