With an XP trick, many kills can currently be farmed in Call of Duty: Warzone with some luck, without breaking a sweat. Players find leveling weapons and the Battle Pass simply takes too long.
In a Battle Royale like Call of Duty: Warzone, one actually fights for every kill. For some reason, everyone wants to be left standing until the end. Does it have to be this way?
No, it doesn’t have to be. Warzone consciously offers special game modes like Plunder or Lockdown that provide a break from the Battle Royale routine.
Yet these modes are now extensively exploited for XP farming. This partly leads to extreme kill streaks because players just stand around.

What kind of trick is this? Classic AFK farming. Players start a mode with activated respawn, such as Plunder or the limited Lockdown. They deactivate the automatic parachute opening and “fill squad”, go down upon landing, die and come back into the match.
Because they go down intermittently, they don’t get kicked from the match. The next match also starts automatically. You just have to … wait for the XP to increase.
Currently, the XP trick is very popular again. Season 5 is online, and players are leveling their Battle Pass or new weapons. Even as a non-AFK player, it can be worth jumping out with the XP zombies. Because that way, kills are raining down:
How are the players reacting? In the thread on the discussion platform Reddit, the trick is being discussed. The commentators do not care that this trick works. In fact, some players even think it’s good that such a thing is possible.
User “Windyandbreezy” writes the most popular comment: “People are parents. People have jobs. People have lives. IW makes the Battle Pass so slow that one literally has to spend hours per night completing it. It’s unrealistic. I fully support this.”
However, players also warn against the trick. The statistics could be seen by Call of Duty as “reverse boosting”, which is not allowed and could lead to a shadow ban.
Currently, there is no indication that Call of Duty wants to put a stop to AFK farmers. Already in Season 4, the trick was very popular and nothing was done about it.
