In World of Warcraft Dragonflight, you can easily earn good loot right now – the only thing you need to do is visit some dungeons. Once you complete those, a really strong item awaits you that could give you a significant boost right at the start of the season.
What is this event? In World of Warcraft, there are small mini-events every week that are intended to encourage players to try out certain types of content. From December 6, 2023, to December 12, 2023, it is the “Dungeon Event”. Here, the final bosses in normal, heroic, and mythic dungeons drop an additional reward.
The really interesting thing for most is the weekly quest that comes with it. Because in Valdrakken, you can accept a quest from the NPC Kazra at the big fountain, for which you need to complete 4 dungeons on mythic difficulty. Alternatively, you can accept the quest directly through your adventure guide.
What dungeons must you complete? The dungeons must be from the current content. The options include:
- The 8 dungeons from Dragonflight on Mythic.
- The 8 dungeons of the current season on Mythic+.
If someone just wants to quickly grab the reward chest, they can simply complete 4 dungeons on “Mythic 0,” which is the normal mythic difficulty. However, if you also want to do something for the weekly cache, you might as well go directly for “Mythic+” dungeons – that way, you kill two birds with one stone.
What rewards are there? The reward chest for completing the quest contains an item from the heroic version of the current raid “Amirdrassil, Hope of the Dream.” This means that the item has a minimum item level of 467 – but in the best case, it can even be 483.
Which item you get from the raid loot is left to chance.
The quest should still be worthwhile for most main characters to have an additional chance at particularly rare items. It is equally interesting for alts to get a significant item level boost directly.
