The secret cartel “Darkness-Merged Solutions” in World of Warcraft must be unlocked first. We will reveal how to do that.
Patch 11.1 Lorenhalt is full of small, hidden content – and also some that is really big. Because Blizzard has even hidden an entire reputation faction among the cartels that is not accessible at the beginning. We will tell you how to unlock the secret fifth cartel and what rewards await you.
The secret cartel is “Darkness-Merged Solutions” and brings some special rewards that no other cartel offers.
How to unlock Darkness-Merged Solutions as a cartel
To unlock the new cartel, you need to meet a series of requirements that you will probably achieve sooner or later on your own:
- Play the main campaign of Lorenhall until you have to defeat Gallywix.
- Defeat the entire raid “Liberation of Lorenhall” and complete the quest.
- Then, you can see a small letter on the reception desk of the hotel – click on it and take it to accept a new quest.
The quest leads you to the NPC Location Fiesmöpp. Submit the quest, listen to the dialogue, and you have unlocked the new cartel!
If you are currently not able to conquer the raid, don’t worry. Next week (12.03.2025), the story mode will be released, then you can also defeat Gallywix solo.
What kind of cartel is this? The cartel “Darkness-Merged Solutions” is mostly the antagonist in Lorenhall, as they are the minions of Gallywix. However, after Gallywix is overthrown, the cartel faces another problem – and needs help. That help is what you can provide. Because the cartel now wants to establish itself in more legal ways (by Goblin standards), and you can help with that while earning a lot of reputation.
How do you earn reputation with Darkness-Merged Solutions? To earn reputation, you need to acquire “Market Research.” You can get this from nearly all activities in Lorenhall once you have unlocked the new cartel. You can directly exchange 100 Market Research for 500 reputation. To rise from Neutral to Revered, you need to collect a total of 8,400 Market Research – that is a task that will probably take several weeks, but it will also happen automatically “on the side.”
What rewards are there? The rewards are quite unique. There is a toy that allows you to turn all raid or group members into goblins. For transmog fans, there is a cool black cloak, and collectors can expect a new flying mount.
The hidden faction is of course not all that is hidden in the current WoW update. The developers have also packed a lot of cool mounts into the game, some of which you can obtain relatively easily. We have introduced 5 easy-to-farm mounts from Patch 11.1 here.
