Dungeons at the Mythic+ difficulty level belong to the classic endgame content of an expansion for many players in World of Warcraft. Here, you play dungeons at the highest difficulty level. To complete these challenges within the time limit, some classes are more suitable due to their abilities than others. The boss says that all classes can achieve Mythic+20, but players do not see that.
In the top rankings for this content, certain classes repeatedly appear with few exceptions. Apparently, the professional players have found a group composition that usually works well.

- Place 1 uses a vengeance demon hunter as tank, a restoration shaman as healer, and retribution paladin, outlaw or subtlety rogue, and a fury or arms warrior as DPS
- Place 2 uses a protection warrior as tank, a restoration druid as healer, and destruction demon hunter, outlaw rogues, and enhancement shamans as DPS
- Place 3 uses a protection warrior as tank, a preservation evoker as healer, and outlaw/subtlety rogues, fury or arms warrior, and enhancement shamans as DPS
- Place 4 uses a guardian druid as tank, a preservation evoker or holy paladin as healer, and a destruction demon hunter, marksmanship hunter, and shadow priest as DPS
- Place 5 uses a protection warrior as tank, a restoration druid as healer, and windwalker monk, outlaw rogues, and enhancement shamans as DPS
What stands out? Four of the top 5 groups worldwide at Raider.IO rely on teams that deal physical damage at melee range. These combinations aim to buff certain classes. For example, rogues gain enormous damage through warriors and enhancement shamans in the group.
It is noticeable that there is only one group in the top 5 that relies on ranged damage dealers. You can find this group in place 4.
If a major balance patch is coming in WoW, the top list might change quickly, and other classes or specializations could climb up.
