You can quickly acquire a stylish mount in World of Warcraft. You just need to play through a starting area.
In World of Warcraft Classic, the age of Mists of Pandaria has begun – at least the pre-patch is already live. This means that everyone can create their Pandaren and Monks to be ready for the actual release of the expansion.
However, for Retail fans (The War Within), there is a special mount. To obtain it, you only need to spend a few hours in Mists of Pandaria and take a closer look at the new starting area.
What kind of mount is it? Shaohao’s Sage Serpent is a typical cloud serpent from Pandaria, but in a translucent “heavenly” look with a green tint – fitting the jade theme of the addon.
2 hours of Classic for a stylish mount
What do you have to do for the mount? To unlock Shaohao’s Sage Serpent in the retail version of World of Warcraft, you need to log in with your account in Mists of Pandaria Classic and complete the Pandaren starting area. This takes about one to two hours, depending on your playstyle.
After completing the area, you need to turn in the follow-up quest with the leader of the Alliance or the Horde – depending on which side you choose. After that, you can log out and switch back to The War Within. The mount Shaohao’s Sage Serpent should now be in your collection.
Until when do you have time? You have until July 30, 2025, to complete this task – that’s almost a whole month. During this time, everyone should be able to spare an hour or two for the event. This is also a good time window, as a lot is happening in WoW right now. The drop chance for old mounts and even legendary weapons is currently drastically increased.
