World of Warcraft brings Mists of Pandaria back as a huge PvE event – but much crazier and faster than you can imagine.
Currently, a lot is being experimented with in World of Warcraft. For Classic fans, there is the “Season of Discoveries”, PvP lovers are enjoying the “Plunderstorm”, and now it’s the turn of the PvE players.
We are talking about “WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria”.
What kind of mode is this? In “WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria” you create a new character and start your journey in Pandaria – with a special game mode. You can level up to level 70 completely in Pandaria, discover new treasures, and earn much more experience points than would normally be the case.
What is special about it? Instead of simply leveling through Mists of Pandaria, you will find plenty of innovations in the game world. There are treasure chests and new rewards that will significantly change your gameplay. Many items have additional abilities that you can activate or that adjust your existing skills. This works through new, powerful sockets. A few examples have already been mentioned:
Additionally, you can unlock a special cloak that provides significant bonuses, such as an experience bonus of up to 324%. This cloak shares its power with all characters you play during the event – so you can try out multiple classes and benefit from jointly earned bonuses.
After the event ends, your characters will be converted into normal characters. The maximum number of characters per account will also be increased, so you won’t have to delete any old heroes.
What rewards are there? As rewards, there will be plenty of cosmetic items and titles. This includes mainly transmog gear that was available during the “Mists of Pandaria” expansion.
In particular, items that otherwise had an extremely low drop chance will likely be available for purchase with bronze.
Besides the “old stuff”, there will also be mounts in previously unreleased color variations. In addition, there will be specific achievements that grant additional rewards upon unlocking and can be converted into deeds after the event is completed.
All cosmetic rewards you unlock in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria will later be transferred to your account for “The War Within”.
When will it be released? WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria will be released with the next update, which is Patch 10.2.7 “Heart of Darkness”. There is no exact release date yet. According to current estimates, the next patch will likely be released in May.
You don’t even need Dragonflight to play this mode, just a valid subscription.
