In WoW (World of Warcraft) the new Evokers of the Dracthyr are now playable. A combination of new class and race. What makes the Evokers so special that players are now spending hours in the character editor?
What’s new: On November 16th, the second phase of the WoW Dragonflight pre-patch started. This is the big expansion that is set to be released this year. Anyone who pre-ordered Dragonflight can now enjoy playing the new class.
However, many players have not gotten far into the gameplay yet. They spent hours on the appearance of the Evokers. We show you the results.
What makes the Dracthyr so special?
This is important: Dragons are an integral part of WoW’s story. You encounter them repeatedly in the game. Sometimes as smaller enemies in certain areas, but often as huge, historically significant characters in the form of bosses and NPCs.
For a long time, players wished to dive deeper into the lore of WoW and to have control over dragons as their own playable characters. With Dragonflight, this is now finally possible. Blizzard grants its customers the ability to create their own characters of the new dragon race, the Dracthyr, and customize them visually down to the smallest detail.
There’s so much to do: If you create a Dracthyr now, you can customize their dragon form and humanoid form. Over 40 individual options from the design of ears and horns to patterns, jewelry, chains, and underwear (for the humanoid form) are available to you. With so many customization options, hardly any two dragons look alike.
Here we show you some results from us and from the community. On Twitter, HighHrothgal writes: “I spent about 2 hours in the character creator and am finally done.” The character is named Aenashk.
In another video, “OK_Fae” presents the result of 5 hours of work in the character editor. “The new time-lost protodrake” is joked about in the description because the creation took so much time.
On reddit, users are also having a lot of fun sharing their Dracthyr with the community. A thread created specifically for this topic has already gathered over 200 comments. We show you some screenshots from it.
