It often happens that players share beautiful experiences they’ve had in a game with other players – after all, not everyone we meet online is toxic and unfriendly. Now, a player from World of Warcraft has shared a story about being pleasantly surprised by a fellow player.
Why is the player overwhelmed? The Reddit user “TK_GX” claims to be a longtime WoW player, but has only recently started engaging with Pet Battles. This led the player to buy a pet at level 25 for about 20,000 gold in the auction house.
A few days after purchasing the pet, TK_GX received an email from the seller. In the message, the seller thanked him for the purchase and also sent him three blue gift boxes along with some food items.
Inside the gift boxes were three level-1 pets of blue rarity, each worth between 2,000 and 3,000 gold – meaning almost half of what TK_GX paid for the purchased level-25 pet.
Additionally, the email reportedly mentioned that TK_GX would receive two achievements if he ate the food items he received from the seller. According to TK_GX, it worked exactly as described in the message.
What does the player say about the gifts? TK_GX expressed deep gratitude for the gifts on Reddit and emphasized that he didn’t mind paying for the pet, as it had helped him greatly. He even sent the seller an additional 1,000 gold as a token of his appreciation.
Furthermore, TK_GX shared that this kind gesture from another player brightened his day. After all, in all the years he has played WoW, it had never happened to him that a stranger unexpectedly gifted him items.
It made my day. I have never randomly received this kind of email or message. I was very grateful and replied that I appreciate the kindness. I even sent an additional 1,000 gold to show how grateful I was.
