The new quest “Mark of the Sentinax” is not for solo players in WoW. Without a group, you will farm yourself silly.
Every week in World of Warcraft the story at the Broken Shore progresses with a small piece of story. As of today (April 25, 2017), Illidan offers all heroes at level 110 a new mission called “Mark of the Sentinax”. The objective is to collect 100 Marks of the Sentinax and then return to Illidan.
However, this is easier said than done. The quest marker is wrong. Anyone who has played a bit at the Broken Shore knows right away what to look for. Look for the green Legion ship symbol for the Sentinax on the map. There you can open portals using signal fires.
WoW Quest Mark of the Sentinax is better tackled in a group
The catch is: The Marks of the Sentinax only drop from the elite enemies from the reinforced portals. The ordinary enemies (which can also be threatening for solo players in large numbers) do not drop the Marks.
It is advisable to join a farming group through the group finder. Just type “Sentinax” in the search field and several groups should already be suggested to you – or you can simply start your own farming group.
The elite enemies usually drop only a single Mark. You will have to hope to catch a lieutenant of the Legion fairly soon. The summoning of such will be announced in the chat. Lieutenants drop between 25 and 50 Marks of the Sentinax, which makes the farming work significantly easier.
After finishing the work, you return to Illidan. The mission rewards a whopping 1500 reputation points with the Legion judges, which should unlock flying for many players at last.
Thus, the quest line for this week ends again. As last week, there was only one quest step to tackle.
