Patch 9.2 of World of Warcraft has been live for a while and is packed with all kinds of collectibles. Whether pets, toys, or mounts – there’s something for every type of player. Especially mounts are in high demand, and some of the new mounts will certainly accompany many beyond this addon.
You can earn a particularly impressive mount with minimal time investment – just a few minutes a day is enough. We’ll show you how to quickly claim the “Patient Bufonid”.
How long does it take for the mount? Overall, you need to deliver different materials for 7 days. However, most of these materials can easily be bought in the auction house or from various vendors, so you’ll only need to invest a few minutes each day to receive your new mount at the end of the week.
What do you have to do? Basically, not much. After you have completed the introductory questline around Zereth Mortis, you will see an enlightened being named Avna sitting by the small lake in the main camp. He has a new quest for you every day. There’s a good chance you already have most of the necessary items in your materials bank.
- Day 1: Accept the quest “The Buried Bufonid” and then kill some Vespids in Zereth Mortis to collect 15 Vespid Honey.
- Day 2: Collect 30 Shadowy Riblets, which you can snag from all kinds of wildlife in the Shadowlands. You probably already have enough in the bank; otherwise, buy some in the auction house.
- Day 3: You need 200 Shadecloth, which you can get from all humanoids in the Shadowlands. Also available in the auction house.
- Day 4: Today, Avna wants 10 Elysian Thade from you, the unusual fish of the Shadowlands. If in doubt, it’s worth taking another look in the auction house.
- Day 5: Now you need 5 Proto Meat. This meat can only be obtained in Zereth Mortis from the wildlife, but it can also be bought in the auction house.
- Day 6: You need 5 Catalyzed Apple Pie. You can purchase those from Mai Toa in Zereth Mortis, the NPC is located at coordinates 59 / 50.
- Day 7: Finally, you need a Bio-Melon. You can find this at the fruit vendor in the Tazavesh dungeon, right behind the instance portal – you don’t have to defeat any enemies.
Once you have collected the materials over 7 days, you can talk to Avna again and receive your “Patient Bufonid” immediately!
By the way, it’s not necessary to complete the quest every day – you can take breaks in between; progress does not reset.
