The latest expansion of World of Warcraft is live, finally available to everyone. In Midnight, you try to save Quel’thalas from Xal’atath.
A few hours ago, the official launch of the 11th expansion of World of Warcraft finally took place. Midnight celebrates its release, and numerous players are gathering on the realms, making their way to level 90 to unlock new talents and prepare for the endgame.
How did the launch go? Quite smoothly, as it had been tested before. After all, buyers of the “Epic Edition” have been able to play in early access for 4 days. Right at midnight, the expansion was made available for everyone else, allowing the first quest for Liadrin to be accepted, which then led to the new areas.

When will the endgame come? You’ll have to be patient until the proper endgame of Midnight starts. The first raids and the first season of Midnight won’t kick off until March 18 – in 2 weeks. Until then, it’s the “pre-season” where many content pieces are still inaccessible. This is Blizzard’s way of ensuring that everyone has enough time to leisurely explore the new story and quests.
What can you do until then? Until the endgame begins, there’s plenty to experience. After all, there are hundreds of quests, numerous new glory factions, dungeons, and depths. Much of this can already be played, allowing players to adequately prepare before starting the first season well-equipped.
In any case, it should be noted: You don’t need to rush. Take all the time you need to immerse yourself in the new areas and stories. There’s no reason to try to be at the top right now unless you belong to the professional raiders competing for “World First” in the raids – then you’re probably already too late if you had time to read this article.
