The last wing of the Battle of Dazar’alor in World of Warcraft has been opened. We will tell you how to defeat the last bosses, including Jaina Proudmoore.
With the end of today’s maintenance (27.02.2019), the last wing of the current raid in World of Warcraft is open. In the third part of the Battle of Dazar’alor, you will experience the finale of the raid and the final fights where the Horde pursues the Alliance. This also includes the showdown against Lady Jaina Proudmoore. We will show you how to succeed in the last fights in LFR and reap great loot.
Mini-Guide for Mechatorque, Stormwall Blockade and Jaina Proudmoore
After King Rastakhan has fallen, the Horde pursues the fleeing Alliance and tries to thwart their escape over the harbor. All players experience this part of the raid from the Horde’s perspective. Alliance players must talk to an NPC to experience it as a “flashback” scene.
High Tinker Mechatorque: In the fight against Mechatorque, the main goal is to defeat the adds and avoid area attacks, so that few players are hit. When you are shrunk, climb into the bots and enter the color codes that teammates call out to you. If you are affected by a Gigavolt Charge, run behind one of the four pillars to break line of sight with other players, so they do not take damage.
Otherwise, stay out of the influence area of the small bots. They trigger an area effect every few seconds, but move very slowly.
Stormwall Blockade: The raid splits into two groups, each fighting one of the two bosses. Players must avoid area attacks on the ships by staying almost constantly in motion. If you are the victim of “Seductive Song”, position yourself as far away from the siren as possible. All players should attack the siren as soon as she appears, or she will immediately kill a player by luring them into the water.
Once both bosses on the ships are defeated, the real fight begins. Here, you must also avoid area attacks. If you are affected by howling winds, run through the puddles of frozen water to remove them and clear the battlefield.
Lady Jaina Proudmoore: The fight against Lady Jaina Proudmoore is the final boss and hence a bit tougher, even in LFR mode. Taking a detailed look at the dungeon journal may be worthwhile. As a general guideline, you should keep the following in mind:
- Save your allies when they are frozen. Every player is needed.
- Fire the ballistae when enemy ships approach.
- You must quickly throw burning explosive barrels overboard, as they will otherwise deal high damage.
In the later phases, you must “stay warm,” or you will freeze. Briefly stand in the various fire effects to remove the negative frost stacks.
