Completed. The first player in WoW: Legion has finished their artifact weapon and is thus 12 times ahead of most others.
While most players of World of Warcraft are slowly but surely finishing the grind to unlock the first 34 talents of the artifact weapon, one player has taken it much further.
The artifact weapon of Cerli, a player from the server The Maelstrom, has also unlocked the last 20 points. As reported by Buffed, the numbers could lead many to feel a little dizzy. Because apart from the first 5.2 million points of artifact power, Cerli needed almost 60 million additional power to level the weapon to its maximum.
Achieved the seemingly impossible, the Unholy Death Knight Cerli did so through a lot of instance visits, especially in the Maw of Souls (818 runs), the Court of Stars (444 runs), and the Darkheart Thicket (383 runs).
For completing mythic dungeons with keystones, there is usually a relatively high sum of artifact power that can refill the bar by several percentage points. Nonetheless, this is an achievement that requires an enormous amount of time, effort, and especially endurance to accomplish so quickly.
For the time being, Cerli can probably rest. New artifact power talents are not expected to arrive until patch 7.2, which will still take a few months. Before that, the “interim patch” 7.1.5 will be released, which will mainly focus on class balance and smaller content, like the Mage Tavern Crawl. Enough time for Cerli to also bring several twinks up to the same level.
