The new war front in World of Warcraft has changed hands. Now the Horde can secure thick loot.
Players of the Horde should hurry and report to the dock in Dazar’Alor. Since last night (December 20, 2018), the war front of Darkshore is available and can be attacked by players of the Horde. This means not only new achievements but also a guaranteed item with an item level of 385+!
Here’s how to participate in the war front: Registration takes place again at the harbor of Dazar’alor. At the table that started the war front: Stromgarde, you can directly register for Darkshore and will be taken to the front after a short waiting period.
What are the requirements? To participate in the war front and receive the quest with the 385 reward, at least one character must have played through the background story at Darkshore. This includes the entire scenario with Tyrande, Nathanos, and the Val’kyr. Additionally, your character must have reached an item level of 320 – as long as it is lower, you cannot register for the war front.
Hordies should also urgently continue the story of Saurfang!
How is the war front: Darkshore played? Basically, the gameplay principle at the war front of Darkshore is identical to the battle for Stromgarde. The attacking faction must gather resources, continually expand their own camp, and capture various control points to advance and unlock further upgrades.
Wood is more important at Darkshore: However, what is different is that at Darkshore, wood is used for recruiting units, and resources are generally available less frequently. A large part of the resources is left behind by defeated enemies and not only found in the vicinity. Additionally, there are standard rare mobs that also leave behind a number of resources.
Essence of the Storm transforms players: The Essence of the Storm also has a different role at Darkshore. Instead of just empowering the player, they can transform into one of three powerful units, each fulfilling a tank, healer, or DPS role.
