Guild defeats Naxxramas, ultimately losing their guild leader
Frontier, a guild specializing in raids, wanted to conquer one of the toughest raids in the game with Naxxramas. And Frontier has indeed succeeded in achieving the world’s first hardcore Naxxramas victory.
However, the guild master died in the final battle. At least he was able to watch his teammates and cheer them on as a spirit during the final victory.
The death is also regrettable because the group had previously survived the other dungeons and raids without any losses. The guild leader took it with humor, after all, his teammates were able to secure the victory in the end.
Why is this so impressive? If you die in WoW Classic: Hardcore, you remain dead in the game. This makes this game mode in WoW challenging and quite unique. Every action must be well thought out because one mistake means everything is irretrievably lost. After your death, you can still take care of your legacy and assign certain tasks, especially if you were the guild leader.
Many players are very attached to their characters. Sometimes so much that they even suffer from nightmares about losing their characters.
