It continues with the crazy mounts from WoW. Real pirates have a ride parrot!
More and more mounts are being found in the Alpha of Battle for Azeroth. The latest expansion of World of Warcraft seems to have a strong focus on mounts that differ drastically in their form.
The latest find is the parrot Haihappen, which visually fits perfectly with the pirates. However, Haihappen is significantly larger than other animals and does not just sit boringly on your shoulder – it is a genuine flying mount! A small preview has already been created on wowhead:
Players can acquire Haihappen from the boss Captain Sky Captain Kragg, one of the opponents in Freehold, the pirate stronghold. It is not yet known at what difficulty the parrot will drop.
Haihappen Boss comes from Hearthstone
Sky Captain Kragg originally comes from Hearthstone and was a card from the expansion “The Grand Tournament”. Apparently, Blizzard liked the card so much that it is now being incorporated into World of Warcraft – with an almost exact reproduction of its appearance in the card game.
The name “Haihappen” is a reference to the movie “Finding Nemo” and is actually used there for the titular fish. It also made an appearance in World of Warcraft as a gray item that rogues could acquire through pickpocketing in “The Burning Crusade”.
The expansion Battle for Azeroth is bursting with new, cool mounts that players can gallop over Kul Tiras and Zandalar. Just yesterday we reported on a pretty cool ride raptor that also drops from a dungeon boss.
What do you think of the Haihappen and the new mounts from Battle for Azeroth in general? Is it cool that there is so much variety? Or is Blizzard exaggerating a bit?
What else to expect in Battle for Azeroth, we have introduced in the big overview article.
