The ear length of elves in World of Warcraft will soon change – at least if one desires so. New customizations make it possible.
Honest to God: You either love or hate elf ears. However, in World of Warcraft, there was previously no way to influence the “best parts” of elves. With Shadowlands, that will change, as a number of new customizations have been found. These customizations are part of the latest build of the Alpha version.
The many new character customizations are one of the major innovations of Shadowlands.
What has been found? The data miners from wowhead have already extracted some novelties from the game files. Blood elves not only get a number of cool, new hairstyles and accessories, but will also be able to adjust the length of their ears. Currently, there are three settings.

Currently, it is not possible to create a Blood Elf character in the Alpha of Shadowlands – therefore, it cannot be said with 100% certainty which of these customizations will actually come for players.
Whether Night Elves will receive similar customizations is still unknown.
Especially exciting for role-players: Especially role-players seem to be excited about these new customizations. On one hand, it is possible to further individualize the elves. On the other hand, many players have long wanted the ability to look more like a “half-elf”. Significantly shorter ears should help in this endeavor.
Please keep in mind that this information and data are still from the Alpha. Whether this all will actually make it into the live version remains to be seen.
