Race to World First – These are the contenders
Team Liquid
Who is Team Liquid? Originally, Team Liquid started in 2015 as a guild named “Limit”. Earlier this year, Team Liquid officially took over the WoW guild. The team quickly developed into the absolute top team and was able to win 2 of the last 4 Race to World Firsts.
Besides WoW, Team Liquid is also involved in many other e-sports. The organization includes teams for StarCraft 2, Valorant, Fortnite, and CS:GO.

Big Dumb Gaming
Who is Big Dumb Gaming? The guild “Big Dumb Gaming” has been around since 2013. The team hails from the US server Illidan and consists of a colorful mix of players. Echo
Who is Echo? The European guild “Echo” was founded in 2020 and is relatively young. However, those who believe that this guild is still inexperienced are mistaken. Many players from Echo have previously played for the e-sports organization “Method” and thus belong to the absolute best WoW players. It is no surprise that Echo is also successful; for example, the guild secured the first kill for Sylvanas Windrunner in the Sanctum of Domination.

Method
Who is Method? The e-sports organization “Method” and the associated WoW guild were for a long time the absolute world elite and secured many World First kills accordingly. However, in 2020, they were caught up by a scandal that ultimately led some players to leave Method and found the guild “Echo”.
After the officials investigated their own misconduct, they wanted to come back strong with Shadowlands. With the launch of Shadowlands, the professional guild Method is back.
