Some players are having trouble completing the recurring events on the Dragon Isles – especially the siege of the Dragonflight Fortress often leads to confusion. Tip: The events start every hour on the hour and you will find a timer on your map. Log out and back in if you don’t see the timer. We’ve explained more about this in our guide for you:

Currently, some bugs are making the rounds that Blizzard is working on, including:
- skipping crafting quests with second characters – Haephesta has been temporarily disabled
- UI changes with the new interface are not being applied
- bugs with some classes, quests, dungeons
- you will find a list of known issues in the English forum
Furthermore, Blizzard is currently preparing the patch for November 7th. There will be numerous balance adjustments for many classes.

The first release night of Dragonflight is proceeding without major issues. Currently, there are hardly any reports of problems with servers or connections, more with bugs and quests – but at least people are getting to play.

Tonight, from 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM German time, the WoW servers will be taken down for scheduled maintenance. Keep this in mind if you were planning a gaming night!

It’s slowly getting towards the end of the workday and so far there appear to be no major issues with the servers and the connection. At least, we currently find no complaints about lags and disconnects.
However, many players are exchanging ideas about the new features. Above all, dragon riding seems to be well-received. What is your favorite feature so far and how do you like Dragonflight in general?

There are problems with certain quests. Blizzard informs on Twitter that you should abandon quests with the addition: “Craftsman supply” if you can’t hand in other quests.
There is apparently also a problem with the quest “The Stream of Time” if you use a non-English client. A workaround here is to change the language for this quest to English (via Twitter). You can find the solution for the problems in detail here:

Currently, there are no major complaints about login or server issues. Players are exchanging thoughts on social media and posting memes about the rough start and the first hours of the new expansion.

Blizzard reports that the most severe connection issues should now be resolved (via Twitter). However, some players are currently having issues with the quest “Quickfire Plans” because it is not displayed on the map. You can find a solution in this YouTube video.

Another tip from us: If you can’t log in on your main, try with a second character, ideally on another realm. We have observed that in most cases we were able to access previously unreachable characters afterwards.
However, the problems are slowly subsiding in many areas. The developers have not yet issued a statement.

There seems to be a partial solution. Part of the problem seems to be related to the War Mode. If you have activated this, the portal to the Dragon Isles does not work. In our tests, it worked 100% of the time without War Mode to access the islands.

There is a Bluepost in the US forum regarding the issues. Customer Support Orlyia states that the developers are monitoring the login issues. However, we have not discovered a solution anywhere yet.

There are reports that the world server is unreachable. We are currently still searching for a reliable solution to the problem that is preventing you from reaching the Dragon Isles. So far, it does not seem that there is a solution at the moment.
Some players have already reached the Dragon Isles, but report lags and long load times when looting and handing in quests. Many are simply farming resources because of this.
The Twitch streamer Naowh is already almost level 63. He is simply farming old content and currently grinding through Torghast with his druid.

On social media, players from all over the world are sharing their connection issues. People are flying from their servers, can no longer log in, get stuck in loading bars, or are teleported back to their starting point. Even those who make it to the Dragon Isles are facing massive lags while playing. There is still no response from Blizzard.

The plan of many Alliance players is currently to simply run to Orgrimmar and fly from there with the zeppelins. However, Blizzard has now activated portals that allow you to skip the ship/zeppelin ride. Apparently, there are issues with the transport methods.
However, numerous players are also flying out of the game and getting stuck when logging in. This has happened to us in the editorial office, for instance. We wish you good luck!

While the zeppelins of the Horde have apparently already departed on many servers, Alliance players are still waiting in vain for their ships at the harbor of Stormwind. But even with the Horde there seem to be problems: Those who make it to the Dragon Isles are teleported back.

Dragonflight is starting, and almost without problems! Unfortunately, the ships seem to be delayed… Punctually at 0:00, players must first wait a few minutes before the ships and zeppelins arrive at the Dragon Isles.

Just a little tip: if you take a break while leveling up, log through all your characters so that they can start gathering rest – just in case.

A little tip: If you have a “24-hour disconnect” on your router, make sure it doesn’t fall around midnight – otherwise, there could be unpleasant waiting times when you want to log back onto the servers later.

Wow, the rush is already starting! Already when logging into Battle.net there are queues, and when you try to get onto the servers, you will also be greeted with a small wait:
If you have time, log in now and pass the time alongside. The logout timer in WoW is 30 minutes before you are sent back to the character screen. You will be separated from the game after 30 more minutes of inactivity.
