Again in 2024, there are Christmas gifts in World of Warcraft. These can be picked up directly for a few days.
The reflective Christmas season with gift-giving is also celebrated in World of Warcraft – in the form of the Winterveil Festival. Every year, there are new gifts for your characters, which mostly end up being pets or toys in your collection. This year, there are also new gifts that you should pick up soon, as you only have a few days.
Just a few days ago, there was new content in WoW, the Siren’s Isle:
What gifts are there this year? In 2024, there is a new gift. This time it is simply the “Winterveil Gift”. It contains:
- Toy “Box of Puntables”.
- The battle pet “Portentous Present”.
- 25 Bronze Dragon Celebration Badges that you can spend at the anniversary event.
Additionally, you will also receive an achievement for possessing this year’s gift.
The toy creates a box with which you can summon various creatures that you can then kick around in the best frustration management style. The battle pet shares the same box model, so you have a permanent companion – if you want a spooky gift box hopping behind you all the time.
Where can you pick up the gifts? Where you can pick up the gifts depends on your chosen faction.
- Horde characters go to Orgrimmar. In the Valley of Strength, in front of the former Warlord’s hut, you will find the large Winterveil tree with the gifts underneath.
- Alliance characters travel to Ironforge. In front of the bank, you will find Greatfather Winter and the corresponding tree, where the gifts are waiting for pickup.
The gifts are given in the form of quests. However, you only need to accept and turn in the quests to receive the corresponding gift – so it’s not a hassle.
How long do you have? The Winterveil Festival in World of Warcraft lasts until January 4, 2025. So you still have about 10 days to pick up the various gifts and add them to your collection.
