In less than a week, the event will end and many rewards will no longer be available. Which tokens should be exchanged? During the birthday event, you collect “Bronze Dragon Celebration Tokens” through almost all activities. They are primarily needed for the many rewards of the event, but they also have a secondary use. You can exchange all excess tokens for Time-Warped Badges – the currency you receive for Timewalking dungeons and can trade with the corresponding vendors.
Where can you exchange the tokens? This can be done in Tanaris. At the vendor “Historian Ma’di” at the festival grounds, you can buy three different chests, each containing Time-Warped Badges. For 25 Bronze Dragon Celebration Tokens, you get a hefty 500 Time-Warped Badges.
Note that you can bundle all your Bronze Dragon Celebration Tokens on one character via the currency menu. Then, you only need to visit the vendor once.
Until when can this be done? You only have a few more days, until January 7, 2025. Then the birthday event ends, and the Bronze Dragon Celebration Tokens will likely expire.
What can you buy with the Time-Warped Badges? Time-Warped Badges can be exchanged for rewards at the active vendor for Timewalking. Depending on which vendor you visit, you’ll be offered different toys, mounts, or transmogs. Blizzard recently updated all these vendors with new loot, so you need several tens of thousands of badges to truly own everything.
It’s also important to note that Time-Warped Badges are an “evergreen currency,” which occasionally proves useful. From time to time, Blizzard introduces new rewards that often cost several thousand badges. If you already have a hefty stockpile, you can treat yourself to a lot right when the new rewards are introduced, without having to farm for a long time.
