A large number of buffs and changes are coming again in World of Warcraft. Some classes are receiving really powerful bonuses.
Even though the second season of World of Warcraft has already been active for many weeks, the developers still don’t seem to be completely happy with the balance. Some classes still perform somewhat worse in various content, which is why Blizzard is stepping in to assist them.
There are a whole lot of buffs. Some are just a few percentage points, but some abilities are receiving massive increases of up to 80%.
Which classes and specializations are being improved? A total of 8 classes are getting clear improvements. Only in the case of the Unholy Death Knight is there a small adjustment downwards, but this is mostly offset by other buffs. The following are strengthened:
- Death Knight (Unholy)
- Demon Hunter (Devastation and Vengeance)
- Druid (Guardian and Feral)
- Caller (Enhancement)
- Mage (Frost)
- Paladin (Retribution)
- Priest (Holy)
- Warrior (Arms and Fury)

When will the changes go live? The class adjustments will go live with the next scheduled server maintenance. This is on Wednesday, May 7. The maintenance usually takes place in the early morning hours (typically between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM) – afterward, you can benefit from the new buffs. There was another buff earlier – because the annoying new reputation faction can now be farmed much, much faster.
