A giant riding dinosaur with three seats could be the premium mount of the new expansion for World of Warcraft.
With World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, the game world of Blizzard’s MMORPG is not only expanding with two new continents, but also receiving a lot of new mounts. For many players, mounts are one of the most important rewards, after all, you ride for many hours through the new areas: The mount is even more noticeable than the character’s armor – a clear prestige symbol.
So far, the Brutosaur seems to be the most likely candidate for the new “premium mount”. At least the model extracted from the data suggests that it has three seats, similar to the Tundra Mammoth and the Yak. These mounts each came with two additional NPCs (vendor, repair, transmog). Missing options could include a bank or a mailman, but a mobile auction house would also at least be conceivable.
Whether the Brutosaur also has its own vendors or what price it will have is still uncertain. However, if Blizzard follows the predecessors, the price is likely to be “hefty” and probably in the 7-digit range. Given the size and impressiveness of the Brutosaur, that would probably be appropriate.
Currently, the number 1 spot for the most expensive mount is held by the Bloodfang Widow from the Mad Merchant. This vendor is only present in Dalaran every few hours and sells the only riding spider for a staggering 2,000,000 gold!
