Battle for Azeroth brings many new mounts to the World of Warcraft. We will tell you which have been found in the game data so far.
Since yesterday, the Alpha server of Battle for Azeroth is active. Although ordinary mortals do not yet have access to the servers, data miners are already diving into the huge pile of files that need to be sifted through. In doing so, they are discovering plenty of new items from the upcoming expansion of World of Warcraft. The colleagues at wowhead have meanwhile read a lot of mounts. We want to present some highlights from the upcoming expansion here.
New Mounts from Battle for Azeroth
The Hivemind is a large brain that players may already know from the head of Yogg-Saron. The special thing about the description is that “other players can join in,” so multiple players will likely merge into one mount. How exactly that will look remains to be seen.
If you wondered during the announcement trailer whether Dinosaur mounts would really come – Yes, they are. The Brontosaur mount has been discovered.
Hyenas will also be used in Battle for Azeroth to travel quickly from point A to point B.
While we’re on the topic of absurd animals, how about a riding frog?
The Goblins are busy at work again, creating new hovercrafts that come in various colors. These look like clear candidates for the engineering profession!
Whatever a Crawg is or will be – you can apparently ride these creatures as well.
An expansion with pirates of course does not come without parrots. Therefore, these birds will also be used as flying mounts!
How exactly the different mounts will be obtained is still unknown and will surely be revealed as soon as the first players gain access to the Alpha server.
Please keep in mind that it is also possible that these mounts will not be made accessible to players, but will only be available to certain NPCs or will find their way into the game at a later time.
