A team developed a strategy in Apex Legends that even a hacker couldn’t defeat. This tactic doesn’t even require much skill; it just takes a long time.
This is how the trick works: Player TesservcT and his two teammates encountered an enemy cheater in Apex Legends. The cheater followed them through the walls and later killed them through almost impossible openings.
The team knew they couldn’t win an open confrontation. So they simply waited out the hacker—with as many healing items as they could find.
TesservcT and another colleague collected medkits and syringes that they eventually gave to their third colleague, a Lifeline. She survived by healing in the closing zone long enough that even the hacker died from the increasing damage, allowing them to secure the victory.
Why can hackers do nothing about it? Generally, hacks in Apex Legends are limited to three things:
- Aimbots – automatic aiming at the opponent and their head
- Wallhacks – seeing opponents through walls in the form of glowing silhouettes
- Map hacks – showing opponents on the map
However, it does little help a hacker to see and even hit an opponent if they can’t reach them alive. The closing zone deals more and more damage, but healing can mitigate that damage.
This is how TesservcT’s team did it. Apparently, Lifeline had more healing items than the hacker, who later died from the zone’s damage.
What is the problem with hackers? Hackers are currently ruining the game for players of Apex Legends on PC. Due to their unfair behavior and cheating advantages, they often snatch undeserved victories.
The problem has already been pointed out by streamers like Dr DisRespect.
What can I do against hackers? For some time now, you can report hackers through a system in the game. Respawn then checks the case and has already distributed mass bans in the past.
If you have a hacker on your team and are sure they are cheating, you can also just lure them to their death.
