Placing Pokémon, Receiving Candies
What trick is this? With Dynamax monsters, you can participate in power sources in Dynamax battles. If you have successfully completed such a battle, you can then place a monster at the power source.
This helps other trainers who conduct a Dynamax battle at the power source. It not only helps the trainers to complete battles more easily and quickly, but also rewards you.
The more battles your Dyna monster conducts at a power source in this way, the more candies you can receive as a reward. Currently, up to 5 candies per power source for a monster are possible. Once your Pokémon has received these 5 candies, you can call it back. Alternatively, it will also return when the power source disappears.
In that case, you can then place your Pokémon at a new power source after you have defeated the monster there. Since your monster quickly receives candies and the power sources are only active for a few days, you can utilize several power sources each week to receive more candies.
Especially for a new legendary Pokémon like Dakuma, this can be a major advantage. Currently, there is no other way to catch Dakuma specimens in the wild. This means that you can only obtain further Dakuma candies through the use of rare special candies and by taking the monster as a buddy.
However, since it is a legendary monster, you would have to plan for 20 km to receive one candy each time.
