In Pokémon GO you can use tags for organizing. I particularly like these 4 tags and they save me time.
What are tags? Tags are a kind of lists in Pokémon GO where you can store and organize Pokémon. They can help you better organize and structure your Pokémon storage. You can create lists for different use cases in the game, for example, for different raid and battle league teams. You can find more about tags here.
In this overview, I will show you the 4 tags that I particularly like and that save me time while playing Pokémon GO.

Tags for events, evolutions, and the trading function
Tag 2x Candies: There are recurring events where you receive double the amount of candies for sending Pokémon. This includes, for example, the Spotlight Hour, which also brings this bonus once a month.
For this, I use the tag 2x Candies. I collect all Pokémon for which I still need candies and that I want to send with this tag. When there is an event in Pokémon GO that provides double candies when sending, I simply go to the tag and send all the Pokémon contained therein.
Tag Crypto-TM: Crypto Pokémon can only have the move Frustration as their charged attack by default. However, there are recurring events where you can teach your Crypto Pokémon a different charged attack with a Charged TM.
For this, I use the tag Crypto-TM. All Crypto Pokémon that I want to unlearn the charged move Frustration go here. When an event occurs for unlearning the move, I go to the tag and can give a Charged TM to each Pokémon contained therein one by one.
Tag Mega: When developing Mega Pokémon to increase their Mega level, you have a cooldown period before you can perform the Mega evolution again. If you complete all tasks you can do daily, you might also want to regularly perform your Mega evolutions.
This is where the tag Mega
helps me. Here are all the Pokémon that I want to raise the Mega level for and that I regularly evolve into their Mega form. The advantage here compared to the corresponding search filter is that I do not see all the Pokémon that can perform the Mega evolution, but only those that I want to.
Tag Trade: The last tag in this overview is the tag Trade
. Here I collect Pokémon that I want to trade with my friends. This includes both older Pokémon to trigger a guaranteed lucky trade, as well as rare Pokémon from events and shinies.
When I want to trade with a friend, I just need to display the Pokémon marked with the tag. This way, I can save time finding Pokémon that I can trade.
