In The Elder Scrolls Online, there is a special event happening this weekend. You can earn additional XP, resources, and quest rewards. This is particularly worthwhile for newcomer players and those looking to level new characters.
What kind of event is this? Currently, the Explorer Celebrations are taking place in ESO. During this short event, there are all sorts of useful rewards for you:
- There are double experience points from all sources. The effect is cumulative and is also applied to other bonuses such as scrolls.
- There are double yields from resource nodes (except for fishing).
- You receive twice as much gold from killing monsters, from quest rewards, and “similar sources”.

The Moon Henge, located in the Greenshadow region, is particularly lucrative. There you can find the quest “The Tear of Moon Henge”, which grants you access to the Isles of Torment. Additionally, you can accept the quest starting at level 3.
Here’s how to quickly gather gold: Another advantage during the event is that monsters drop more gold for you. Especially for characters who have not yet reached the maximum level, it is advisable to fight enemies in Public Dungeons.
They drop relatively a lot of gold and also useful equipment items.
Gathering resources can also be worthwhile. However, you should sell them later, as they are collected in abundance during the event.
