At the start of Where Winds Meet and the first season Blade Out, you can grab some free rewards. MeinMMO summarizes for you which items you can unlock where and how.
What is known about Season 1 of Where Winds Meet? The first season, titled Blade Out, begins simultaneously with the launch on November 14, 2025, and runs until February 5, 2026. It is currently unclear which content is exclusive to the first season and will not be available after February 6.
What free rewards are available? Around the global launch and the start of Season 1, you can currently secure the following in-game goodies for Where Winds Meet:
- There is already a code that you can redeem in the game to secure 1 x Resonating Melody, 100 x Echo Jade: WWMGO1114 – You will find all current codes in the future in our overview of the codes for Where Winds Meet.
- On wherewindsmeetgame.com, you can currently create a name card and create a team to earn in-game items. You can win up to 50 Echo Jade, 20,000 x Tong bao, up to 3 chance boxes with an Internal Art Note, 10 x Oscillating Jade, and 1 x Resonating Melody… however, your team must consist of 5 players for the maximum reward.
- As part of an event, the community accumulated 10 million pre-registrations and thus achieved all milestones and unlocked the corresponding rewards (including 500 Echo Jade, gift boxes, and a lotus skin) – those who pre-registered can collect these at launch (probably via in-game mail).
- The developers promised extensive launch rewards on the official PlayStation Blog and during the stream on YouTube, including three exclusive outfits and a variety of other cosmetic items – you will likely receive these through logging in, in-game mail, or an extra event.

By the way: Those who participated in the beta or pre-ordered the game on PlayStation must log in to their respective account at launch to automatically receive the associated rewards. If you want to switch platforms, you must link the two accounts from PS5 and Steam to receive the rewards.

What else is there? On PlayStation, you can pre-order Where Winds Meet for just under 18 euros despite the Free2Play model. In this case, you get 10,000 coins, 2 x Lingering Melody, a card background for your character, and a cosmetic chest where you can select a costume from 3 outfits.
Unfortunately: Those who did not participate in the beta on PS5 must definitely pay this price on the console to pre-download the large open-world RPG. Otherwise, you can only download the game for free with the official release on November 14 at 11:00 PM.

You can expect a very comprehensive and complex RPG that wants to excite several fan camps:
- The story and world take place in China of the 10th century but are oriented towards the fictional Wuxia genre, which you may know from film classics like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or Hero.
- The open world at launch consists of two large regions, is vast, and offers secrets, puzzles, and content that will keep you busy for 100+ hours.
- Your hero uses his martial arts skills to defend himself, whereby thanks to the Wuxia premise, he can utilize superhuman abilities and even fly.
- The level progression is layered and allows you to enhance your skills and equipment slots. In addition, there are numerous ways to visually stand out from other players.
- The entire story campaign and numerous quests are experienced alone, as in a typical single-player role-playing game. Optionally, you can invite up to 3 co-op friends into your world and play certain side stories, campaign content (not related to the main story quests), and leisure activities.
- Alternatively, you can switch to an optional multiplayer mode where you can meet numerous other players.
