- During the Halloween event, you will encounter the Butcher from Diablo 4 in Warzone. He drops a unique item when you defeat him.
On the Call of Duty website, it is described that you can secure the coveted Butcher’s Hook if you defeat him in Warzone. However, you should pay attention to a few important steps.

Secure the Butcher’s Hook
This is how you get the unique item: To obtain the Butcher’s Hook for Diablo 4, you must complete a few steps. These are detailed on callofduty.com – we summarize them for you:
- Link your Battle.net account to your Activision account via the profile tab on the CoD website
- Activate a Lilith altar and open a nightmare portal to the Butcher (available on the maps Al Mazrah and Vondead)
- Defeat the Butcher in battle
- The reward will be credited to your Battle.net account, which can take up to 4 days
- If you kill the Butcher before linking your accounts, the reward will still be credited and will not be lost
- Since the item is a scythe, you need to equip a scythe in Diablo 4 to make the transmog visible
- You have until the end of “The Haunting” to kill the Butcher, so until November 6, 2023
