The second purely digital gamescom is now over. What did you think of the trailers and information presented? And what were your personal highlights of the event?
This is what was shown at gamescom 2021: From August 25 to 27, the digital gamescom 2021 took place and, as usual, brought many new insights and streams related to gaming. For interested viewers, all streamed content was available for free on the official channels of gamescom on Twitch and YouTube as well as on Monsters And Explosions, the joint channel of GameStar, GamePro, and MeinMMO.
During the Opening Night Live, there was a real fireworks display of trailers and information. Over 40 trailers were shown in two hours for games like
- CoD Vanguard
- Far Cry 6
- Saints Row
- Cult of the Lamb
- DokeV and many more
There was even a live performance by violinist Lindsey Stirling with a new song for Tales of Arise. On stage, developers and voice actors spoke and could tell more about their games.
But even after the ONL, reports and interviews continued. MeinMMO got hands-on with the multiplayer game Blood of Heroes and our colleague Elena Schulz from GameStar was able to talk to the developers of FromSoftware about their upcoming game Elden Ring.
