The new shooter Valorant from Riot is getting closer. The first reactions to the game from eSports professionals and Twitch streamers give hope for an exciting new game.
What is Valorant? Valorant is a free-to-play shooter from the makers of LoL, Riot Games. The shooter is said to be inspired by games like Counter Strike. Valorant is still in development, but will soon enter an open beta phase.
At a first play event, Valorant was now available to play. And many streamers and pros were already excited.
“The game will blow you away”
Here are the first reactions: The reactions to the gameplay do not go too deep yet. However, many streamers have shared their first impressions of the game. Summit1g, for example, announced that it will be 10 times better than Overwatch.
Streamer Gale Adelade from the eSports team TSM, for instance, already included the title “Valorant streamer” in his Twitter bio and expressed early enthusiasm for the game: “Valorant is the craziest game of all time. I tested it over the weekend and I love Phoenix so much. The game will blow you away,” said the streamer (via Twitter), who probably got to test the first known hero of the game.
Even the streamer “CouRage,” known from the Fortnite and Call of Duty scene, is a fan of the game: “The game is the absolute hit,” says the streamer after a weekend full of Valorant.
Also, Fortnite streamer Cloakzy, known for his partnership with Tfue, spent the weekend with Valorant – and already announced that he wants to get better than competitor “TimtheTatman”.
Because of Valorant, he hasn’t streamed in the last 2 days.
Will that happen? The challenged one has also already been able to prepare.
The conclusion from TimTheTatman basically consisted of just two words: “Get. Ready.”
In a Twitch stream, he elaborated on his brief conclusion. He considers Valorant to be “the next big thing” and is curious about what the future holds for the game.
