What classes are in ESO? At launch, there were only 4 different classes: the Dragonknight, the Nightblade, the Templar, and the Sorcerer. With Update 14 and the first major chapter Morrowind, the classes were expanded with the Warden. The last class added with Update 22 Elsweyr is the Necromancer.
Here we have summarized the characteristics of each class:
- Nightblade – This is the assassin class in ESO. They can turn invisible and deal significant burst damage.
- Necromancer – The Necromancer summons undead and can use their corpses for additional abilities.
- Dragonknight – The Dragonknight is distinguished by fire and poison abilities. They also have many dots.
- Templar – The abilities of the Templar are all cloaked in radiant light, and they possess many healing abilities.
- Sorcerer – The Sorcerer employs daedric summoning and has many lightning spells.
- Warden – The Warden is a nature-connected class in ESO and can summon creatures of the forest in battle.
