Defiance 2050 will be a reboot of the online shooter Defiance. Through the Valor system, it is possible to transfer some of your achievements from the original to the reboot. However, your character and its items will remain in the old game.
Although Defiance 2050 will not replace the original (at least for now), many players will likely switch to the reboot. The Valor system is intended to ensure that not everything you achieved in Defiance was in vain.

Transfer Achievements to Defiance 2050
The Valor system allows you to transfer some of your achievements to Defiance 2050. These include:
- Unique titles you earned in Defiance
- Account upgrades like loadout slots and character slots
Additionally, it is possible to earn so-called “Valor Commendations” in Defiance. These allow you to:
- Unlock boosts
- Earn cosmetic items, including outfits, titles, and vehicle skins
However, the character and its items will remain in the old Defiance and cannot be transferred.

Complete Pursuits to earn Valor Commendations
These items will then be available to you in the reboot Defiance 2050. To receive these rewards, you must complete so-called “Pursuits,” new ones of which will be introduced in Defiance this coming summer with an update. Pursuits are the achievements in Defiance.
Pursuits already exist in the game, but they do not yet earn you Valor Commendations. With the June update, not only will further Pursuits be introduced, but the existing ones will also be expanded with the new system.
If you have any questions about the Valor system, Trion Worlds has answered the most frequently asked Valor questions in a forum post.
When Defiance 2050 will launch for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 is still uncertain. However, you can already sign up for a closed beta, the date of which will be announced soon.
