Four months ago, a legendary WoW fan site called Vanion closed its doors. The site leader, Andi, now speaks with us on the MeinMMO Podcast about his experiences and reasons.
What does a fan do when your favorite game only delivers bad news? What happens when the passion for a game hits a low point? With this and many other questions, we speak with the operator of Vanion, Andi.
The past year has not been kind to WoW. Harsh criticism of the Shadowlands expansion and the sexism scandal surrounding Activision Blizzard have continued to worsen the atmosphere surrounding the MMORPG. Constantly delivering bad news can really dampen the mood.
In the podcast, Andi expresses his view of the situation, his wishes, and also talks about new projects. Over the past few months, he has not just been sitting around, but has taken on new challenges.
He is joined by the editor-in-chief of MeinMMO, Leya Jankowski, and editorial manager Gerd Schuhmann.
