Based on personal experience in the game and assessments from streamers and professionals, we have compiled a list of combinations for you.
Wingman/Peacekeeper, the Storm Assault
What kind of combination is this? The combination of the Wingman pistol and the Peacekeeper shotgun is often used by streamers, even though at least the shotgun has caused frustration. It combines a lot of firepower but requires precise aiming from the shooter.
In what situation is it useful? Both weapons are most effective at short and mid-short distances. They are particularly sensible when you play aggressively and want to pressure the opponents. Use them in offensive setups with good attack potential.
These are the advantages:
- both weapons can use a Threat Detector that lets you see opponents through smoke
- enormous damage can take down opponents in just a few shots
These are the disadvantages:
- if you don’t aim precisely, you quickly lose an encounter due to the required closeness to the opponent
- for maximum effectiveness you need the Hop-Ups Precision Choke and Skullpiercer
- both weapons are less frequently found due to a balance patch
Alternatives: EVA-8 or R-99 instead of the Peacekeeper
Longbow/Wingman, for Snipers
What kind of combination is this? The combination of the Longbow sniper rifle and the Wingman pistol covers both long distances and close combat. Additionally, it only requires one type of ammunition. If you enjoy playing as a scout and sniper, this combination is ideal.
In what situation is it useful? The combination is especially suitable for mid-game and for situations where you have a good overview from elevated positions. With the Longbow, you can pick off unprotected opponents. The Wingman, which is also ranked high in our tier list, provides cover when you are ambushed.
These are the advantages:
- low ammunition consumption, leaving more space for grenades and healing
- ability to take down well-armored opponents effectively
- good overview and scouting
These are the disadvantages:
- you need two Skullpiercers for maximum effectiveness
- both weapons are slow. If you are overrun, you have little chance
Alternatives: EVA-8 or Peacekeeper instead of Wingman, Triple Take with Precision Choke instead of Longbow
Spitfire/EVA-8, Fire Support
What kind of combination is this? This combination consists of the light machine gun Spitfire and the automatic shotgun EVA-8. Although the EVA-8 is often looked down upon, it ranks high on the tier list of top player Dizzy.
In what situation is it useful? Both weapons are well-suited to cover opponents and areas with bullets and shrapnel. You can suppress entire squads or provide fire support for friends.
These are the advantages:
- high damage, especially in confined spaces and at close range
- large magazines, requiring less frequent reloads in combat
These are the disadvantages:
- both weapons consume a lot of ammunition, limiting your inventory space
- not suitable for fights beyond medium range
Alternatives: Peacekeeper instead of EVA-8, Devotion with Turbocharger instead of Spitfire
Scout/R-301, the Commando Soldier
What kind of combination is this? The choice of R-301 and Scout is an “all-rounder” choice. The range of both weapons complements each other at all distances, so you will always be at least “good”.
In what situation is it useful? This loadout is suitable for pretty much any situation. You have the right answer for every playstyle and a counter for the opponent at hand.
These are the advantages:
- consistent damage at all distances
- high customizability through various attachments
- no hop-ups required
These are the disadvantages:
- only one ammunition type. If you run out of light ammunition, you have a problem
- no weapon is “outstanding” in its category. The combination only becomes stronger with your skill
Alternatives: Hemlok or Flatline instead of R-301
R-99/Wingman, the Close Combat Massacre
What kind of combination is this? With the combination of Wingman and R-99, you should play when you want to cause a ruckus. No matter who gets too close, they will regret it and either die or flee.
In what situation is it useful? For any encounter at close range, especially for house battles, like in Skull Town or the Bunker. Here, you can really heat things up for the opponents.
These are the advantages:
- enormous damage output at close range. The firing rate of the R-99 also helps to drive opponents back
- both weapons are quickly reloadable, which is very useful in close-range firefights
These are the disadvantages:
- high ammunition consumption of the R-99
- hardly effective outside close combat
Alternatives: Peacekeeper instead of Wingman, Alternator instead of R-99
