Vermintide 2 Class Guide: Kerillian
An elven waystalker who helps the lowly humans out of her own hidden drive. She is astonished when someone besides her hits a target and treats humans like stupid children that need everything explained.
Level 1 – Waystalker
Kerillian supports the group from a distance with bow and arrow, as well as supportive healing abilities.
- Your passive ability “Amaranth” heals you up to a certain value and can be upgraded to heal longer or affect the group.
- Plan your healing accordingly. Take a brew only when Amaranth no longer works to maximize the effect.
- The “Hunting Arrow Salvo” looks for critical spots on the enemy whenever possible. Use it for bosses or large groups of enemies, as it can penetrate enemies with higher power levels.
- Your ammunition supply is increased. Use the larger number of arrows against groups of enemies to pierce multiple targets or against strong enemies.
Level 7 – Handmaiden
Through her high agility, Kerillian dances through enemy ranks while mauling them in close combat. She can dodge attacks more easily.
- The range of your dodging is increased. You can escape enemies more easily. Prevent being surrounded.
- With “Dashing”, you can quickly clear enemies out of the way to revive allies. Your revival attempt cannot be interrupted by damage.
- The Handmaiden is a support class. Manage enemies with increased stamina regeneration and dodging to distract them and help allies in danger.
Level 12 – Shade
As an exiled wood elf, Kerillian can vanish and deal increased damage from behind, killing smaller enemies instantly.
- When you hit enemies from behind, you deal 50% more damage and can instantly kill human-sized enemies with critical hits.
- You are only effective when you can attack enemies from behind and do not have much endurance. So have at least one, better two tanks in the group for effective gameplay.
- With the ability “Infiltration”, you vanish for 10 seconds and can move through enemies. The first attack from stealth deals increased damage. Combine this with back damage and heat up elite enemies and bosses.
Premium Class: Sister of the Thorn
You can only play the Sister of the Thorn if you purchase the “Sister of the Thorn” DLC. The premium class primarily serves as a supporter, but can also deal substantial damage if played correctly.
- Your career skill creates a wall that slows down enemies. Use it to defuse critical situations or to rescue allies.
- You also work a lot with poison and bleeding effects, which you can even modify to deal more damage to affected enemies. Especially against elite enemies and bosses, you are a great help with this.
- Through your passive abilities, group members receive more health points, and you receive temporary hit points whenever allies would get max HP. If you coordinate with your group and align talents, you can become nearly immortal, even if you take grimoires with you.
