Warframe recently showed what the version for the next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox One Series X/S looks like. However, in a funny comment, the head developer revealed how to get all of it today.
What is the Next-Gen version of Warframe all about? The loot shooter Warframe is already 7 years old, but thanks to elaborate upgrades it looks very stylish on the upcoming next-gen console PlayStation 5. This is due in part to:
- Fast loading times
- Dynamic lighting
- 4K resolution
- 60 FPS
A video of the PS5 version of Warframe was recently released and looks as follows:
It’s hard to believe that a game from 2013 still looks so good.
When is the Next-Gen version coming? Steve Sinclair, the game director of Warframe, hasn’t said anything about a specific release date yet. However, it will probably be “soon.” He humorously revealed on Twitter how to actually get the next-gen version today.
PC version with maximum settings is just as good as the next-gen version
This is how you can already get Next-Gen Warframe: In a light-hearted tweet, Steve Sinclair announced that you could actually already play a stylish next-gen version of Warframe.
Basically, Sinclair says here that you just need to enable the Enhanced Rendering option on PC and then set all other graphics settings to maximum. As long as your PC’s hardware can handle it, this should also provide you with 4K resolution and 60 FPS, although the resolution may sometimes be lowered in favor of the 60 FPS.
The stylish new PS5 next-gen version of the game is thus, according to the head, “only” a PC version with maximum settings. By the way, those who are waiting for new content for Warframe can look forward to an expansion for the recently released setting on the creepy moon Deimos. It will be called “Deimos Acrana” and will introduce new mechs into the game.
