Warframe is a multiplayer online shooter from Digital Extremes that is reminiscent of Destiny in gameplay and setting. In Warframe, you play as a so-called ‘Tenno’, a warrior from a long-forgotten time in the distant future. The Tenno were awakened from centuries of cryosleep, and now the entire solar system is controlled by infected monsters, fascist clones, and greedy corporations. Time to clean up! The eponymous Warframes are biomechanical combat suits that you can switch between missions. Warframes are, therefore, a kind of class, each with their own skills. With up to three other players, you enter short and action-packed instances and fight your way to the mission objective, such as an artifact or an enemy leader. As a reward, you receive materials that allow you to build new weapons and Warframes. Also cool: you can also play exterior missions in space with rocket wings and breed bizarre space combat cats and dogs. Meanwhile, there are also additional open-world areas.
