Wardogs Server Status: Queues and Error Codes in the Live Ticker

We are in! At least Dariusz reports that he has actually made it into the game.

I would prefer to write something positive, but that apparently won’t happen just yet. After the colleague reached position 15,000, a new error message came in. So, this seems to be the current loop we are in. At least the new queue gets a little shorter after each restart – currently at 180,000. And how about you?

We are still stuck in queues. Dariusz just had hope that it was progressing but was then thrown out by an error message and a crash, starting again at position 284,000.

Meanwhile, the viewer numbers on Twitch are also continuously increasing. There are now over 330,000 people watching how others play Wardogs… or rather hang in queues.

After the long queue, players unfortunately do not expect a start into the game, but rather an error message. It says: “Authentication with online services has failed.”

A small ray of hope: Afterwards, the queue according to our colleague Dariusz becomes much faster. He slipped directly to position 217,000.

And the developers are also aware of the problem and are working on it. On the official Discord it says: “We will clear this queue. Everyone currently in the queue to log into the game will be kicked. Thank you for your patience @everyone. This should help improve the situation. We will keep you updated as much as possible.”

Anyone who hasn’t picked up their Twitch drops for Wardogs can still do so until September 14. Just find a streamer who is streaming in the Wardogs category on Twitch and watch for 30 minutes for the first drop. For the second drop, you need to purchase a subscription for one of the channels.

On Twitch, more than 326,000 people are currently watching streamers in the Wardogs category.

On X.com, the developers share:

“Currently, players are gradually streaming onto the servers as we gradually scale up capacity.

However, thousands are still in the login queue.

Currently, there is an access restriction, and we are working directly with Valve to resolve this issue and adjust our access restriction to that of larger titles.”

To fill the time, a side anecdote from Dariusz:

“There are already cheaters again. I’m waiting in a Twitch stream and just got the in-game message that a player was banned from the server for cheating.”

Currently, Dariusz is the highest in the queue at around 128,000. It seems to be getting faster.

On Reddit, people continue to report error messages. Someone also shares their “high score” queue position of 270,345.

The queue numbers are moving slowly and only decrease in small increments. Dariusz is currently at around 142,000.

The player numbers on Steam are still rising and are now at 257,477 simultaneous players. Will we still reach 300,000?

It’s moving slowly. Colleague and shooter enthusiast Dariusz has at least already fought his way to position 147,995.

If you see the error indicating that your account has been restricted, it is a known problem and likely related to FirstLook. However, for the first colleagues, this seems to be resolved.

On Discord, the developers have now reported:

“Currently, thousands of players are in the login queue, gradually getting into the game and onto the servers as they increase their capacity.

However, some players are being pushed to the end of the queue – we sincerely apologize for that. The response is much, much larger than during the beta.

Please be patient while we resolve these issues. We will do our absolute best to get you all into the game as quickly as possible.”

The player numbers on Steam are skyrocketing and are now almost at 200,000 players.

The servers should be open, but many – including us – are not only stuck in queues but also getting error messages. Currently, it seems like the servers are still having problems.
