Especially in the beginning, it often can’t go fast enough, and you want to leave the cheap frogs behind in weapons and armor. Therefore, we have some concise tips for you to level up quickly and efficiently in the early stages.

Leveling Classes Evenly

In Wardogs, you have an overall level and different levels for each class. If you want to efficiently raise your main level, you should strive to level the classes as evenly as possible.

The total level is calculated from the sum of your class levels. You “choose” your class by purchasing and using the corresponding equipment, such as bandages for a Medic.

As the initial levels require significantly less XP than the higher ones, you should ensure to level all classes evenly at the beginning rather than one after the other.

Logistics Focus for Support, Driver, and Pilot

These 3 can be excellently leveled simultaneously. Here’s the best approach:

• Drive the personnel carrier (APZ) from the main base to the combat zone as soon as 20 points are reached in the match.
  • This way, you can level the Driver to level 4 in just one match.
• Then use the unlocked Ural truck (which carries 2 crates at once) or the Huey helicopter to transport supply crates to your Forward Operating Bases (FOBs).

Delivering and subsequently opening the crates by team members generates large amounts of XP for Support, Driver, and Pilot simultaneously, thus raising your main level with relatively little effort.

Spotting Instead of Sniping for Recon

If you want to level Recon, you won’t get far with kills. Your starting sniper rifle does too little damage, and even with headshots, your enemies don’t drop immediately. Instead, buy binoculars and focus on marking enemies from a distance.

This way, you can level your Recon to level 5 without much effort or risk, which allows you to get a significantly better rifle and expand your leveling strategy with kills and assists.

Teamplay in Hot Zones for Medics and Assault

These two classes are best leveled in the red Hot Zones. They increase your total experience and make you more efficient in your roles. Team up with your fellow players here to achieve the first levels with minimal risk.

You level the Assault primarily through kills with assault rifles. Unfortunately, you have to start collecting the first experience points with your starting weapon. It’s best to use an AK as soon as you unlock it and buy ammo packs instead of magazines to save space in your inventory.

For the Medic, focus on staying close to your squad and out of sight lines. In the beginning, use the free masks and load up on bandages to quickly unlock the defibrillator. Alternatively, you can climb the watchtowers, as free defibrillators often spawn there at the start of a round.
