The developers of the MMORPG Throne and Liberty have showcased highlights from the internal beta in a new video, including insights into the character editor.
What kind of game is this? Throne and Liberty is an MMORPG from the Korean developer studio NCSoft, which was originally announced as Lineage Eternal. It is said to have already cost over 75 million euros in development.
The MMORPG features an open world where movement is said to play a significant role. For example, you should be able to use grappling hooks or transform into aquatic and flying animals.
Additionally, there are supposed to be huge world bosses and castle sieges. Throne and Liberty does not rely on a classic Holy Trinity of Tank, Healer, and Damage Dealer or fixed classes. Instead, you equip two weapons that determine your playstyle and that you can level up and improve.
On which platforms will the MMORPG be released? Throne and Liberty is set to release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
