The old-school MMORPG Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen aims to take players back to the days of Everquest and other classics. Here is now 10 minutes of Alpha gameplay showcasing various features.
What kind of game is this? Pantheon wants to be a “real MMORPG” where you rely on a group and must fight through the dungeons together. The MMORPG also has a very “old-school” graphical style and clearly orients itself toward titles like Everquest – it is an MMORPG for purists and enthusiasts.
The game has been in development for 7 years, with Alpha expected to start for players in 2022. Since then, there has been new gameplay to see, as in this video, which shows you weather effects, day/night transitions, and other elements.
