What kind of game is this? Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric horror game where a psychotic killer hunts a group of relatively defenseless survivors through a creepy landscape. All participants in this unequal hunt are players. The killer must find all survivors, eliminate them, and hang them on meat hooks for the glory of a dark power, letting them die in agony. However, the survivors can outsmart the killer and rescue their comrades. Their goal is to escape the nightmare.
