Video Celebrates the Last Seven Years of the PS4
This is what he did: He selected the best exclusives of the PlayStation 4 and edited them into a video. User CaptainAwesome18 explains why he created the video. He writes:
Since the reveal of the PS5 is expected in the coming weeks, I wanted to create a video montage that celebrates the last seven years of the PlayStation 4’s lifecycle and showcases the incredible selection of exclusive games. I tried to include as many as I could imagine.

In a further comment, he explains that he may have forgotten a few titles and people shouldn’t be mad about that.
“That’s why I’m probably going to buy a PS5”
What do the users say? The users are thrilled with the video and the creator’s work. Some note that the exclusives might be one reason to buy a PlayStation 5:
- A user Itsactuallyjiff writes: “That’s why I might buy a P5. People buy what they want, and this whole ‘console war’ is a joke. In my opinion, Nintendo and Sony just have the best exclusives. That’s why I’m buying their consoles.”
- Jrocker-ame states: “As a primarily Xbox player, I tip my hat to Sony. Their catalog was so amazing that I bought a PS4 just for the exclusivity. I still have to work through most Yakuza games and Horizon. If Sony maintains this quality in a year or two, you can bet I’ll be buying that PS5.”
- And user the_AIsian ironically says: “If this were an ad trying to convince me to buy a PS4, it would have convinced me in just a minute. Fortunately, I already have one.”

Best PS4 Exclusives as Video – But One Game is Missing
Some users complain on reddit under the video that one game is missing: The cooperative game Knack 2.
Knack was showcased at the launch of the PS4 by Sony under the direction of Mark Cerny as a launch title. For many, Knack is considered the unofficial mascot of the PlayStation 4. Knack 2 is the sequel and is a cooperative title where you beat up evil goblins and robots.
Currently, Sony is giving away Knack 2 and another game in the PlayStation Store. But you must hurry, as the offer will end soon.
